I like pop. I used to drink it a lot more when 1) I didn’t care how fat I was; and 2) when I had all I could drink where I worked (though even then I mostly drank water). Also, I don’t drink alcohol, so pop is my unhealthy beverage of choice. Anyways, some memories of my youth include: large amounts of pop in the basement fridge; a family reunion with so much pop it was called the “Pop Reunion;” and the general enjoyment of a sugary beverage. Above it all, there was always Pepsi. Pepsi is my cola of choice. Best if “fountain fresh,” the can, then lastly the 20 oz. bottle. I enjoy Pepsi so much I would sometimes take my own to aforementioned workplace which served Coke. So, you can imagine that I was slightly ecstatic whenI first heard about the possibility of Pepsi Throwback. The deliciousness of Pepsi, with real sugar? Surely you jest.
Awesome. That is really how I describe Pepsi Throwback, right down to the can. No nasty aftertaste from the high fructose corn syrup, just delicious caramel colored water. (Other than the power of the corn lobby giving us the crap that is high fructose corn syrup, there is also the power of the US sugar industry that ensures there are large tariffs on imported sugar. Hooray for rent seeking!). Anyways, I usually only drink pop on special occasions, or when I need a little caffeine during finals, but I could probably drink this everyday. Highly recommended, but for a limited time only! Mike 9/10. Sandi 7/10. (She doesn’t think it tastes that different, she likes Coke better, and actually likes high fructose corn syrup, bleh!).
As a bonus, here is a video about a store in LA. In the words of Liz Lemon: I want to go to there.

I’m waiting for a review of childbirth from Sandi. Well, I suppose you could review it too, Mike, but Sandi’s viewpoint would be more interesting.
Love,
El Jefe
Couldn’t agree with you more on the throwback-I sure hope they make it full time. Its almost as good as the Pepsi from Mexico in the glass bottles.
Also, I loved the Buster photo strip. Classic.
Michael!!
Soda rots your kidneys.
Just thought you should know.
SODA rots your kidneys. Pop not so much. But is there a more delicious way to rot your kidneys? I think not.
I am utterly obsessed with Pepsi Throwback… the thing is, I don’t even like Pepsi. The Throwback is a completely different animal. Yes. It is. AWESOME.
